The Leo Oil Review
Nowadays, Instagram is where I discover a lot of the new products that I want to try, and the Leo Oil is one of these products. I first stumbled upon it because a couple of Instagram beauty influencers that I follow had been posting about it. I got curious about the product, with its beautiful, minimal packaging and raving reviews, so I picked up my first bottle of the Leo Oil when Dena (@leowithcancer on Instagram), creator of Leo Oil, was offering 20% off the first purchase.
The Leo Oil is a blend of Meadowfoam Seed Oil, Rosehip Seed Oil, Blue Tansy Oil. This combination of oils has such an amazing and soothing smell. It smells like bergamot, and my dog always wants to lick my face after I use it. The color is a greenish blue from the blue tansy as well, which I think makes it fun to apply.
I love this oil. First of all, it's called the Leo Oil. I'm a Leo, so the name already really spoke to me. Honestly, I couldn't really tell how much it was helping my skin when I first started using it. However, I've been using it pretty regularly for a couple of months now, and I've really started to notice a difference. This past month in particular, I decided to start using it every night since I had a lot of breakouts and redness from stress. My breakouts seemed to be going away faster, and the oil really helped calm down any redness in my skin. It was a miracle! I've already purchased a second bottle and plan to keep this product in my skincare routine.
You can buy a 1 oz bottle of Leo Oil for $46 or a little sample to try first for $13, and there's still a promo for 20% off your first purchase. Dena makes every bottle of the oil by hand and in batches, so just a heads up that you may not get a bottle right when you order it. It's definitely worth it though and makes the product that much more special. By purchasing the Leo Oil you'd also be supporting a small, woman-owned business, which is always a good thing :)
